Notes

“Sita Without a Face” starring Sita Abellan

Written and directed by Pawla Casanovas, Sita without a Face is a short film starring artist Sita Abellán, drawing inspiration from the 1960 film Les Yeux Sans Visage.

The piece explores themes of identity and transformation. Sita Abellán becomes a faceless figure, evoking both beauty and unease—a reflection on obsession, anonymity, and the search for self beyond the physical.

With an enigmatic atmosphere, Sita: Without a Face reimagines classic horror through a contemporary lens, turning mystery into a statement
